Lily Evans was sitting quietly in honeydukes, not wanting to make a sound. She was hiding. Hiding from Emme. It was a game she sometimes played when she was feeling her most childish. Which she had to admit wasn't often. Normally Lily was the mother of the group. She was the head girl and so naturally had alot of responiblity. So from time to time she cracked and became a five year old child again. It was fun. She got to just be herself for the couple of minutes that she had let go.
Like this game of hide and seek. Since today she was being a five year old, she came to the place where most five-year olds would go. Honeydukes. The place where if she just stepped through the doors she could feel her teeth rot away. On an normal day, but on a day like today all she could smell was the overpowering smell of chocolate, begging her to eat it. It was only a matter of time before she gave in and spent all her money on a box of chocolate frogs.
She smiled and flicked her long red hair behind her back. It had been a long day. No wonder she was acting up. Good ole Slughorn had decided to tell her that she was a nusience again. She knew that he was only trying to make her a better student, but still, couldn't he do it nicely? Pothead was trailing her agian. When would the fraek learn that she just wasn't interested?
What Lily needed was a nice relaxing day with her best friend. Of course Emme would have to find her first!
OOC;; Sorry for the short post..... My muse has gone on a LONG holiday.....

Hogsmeade, it was one of the best places to go shop right next to Digon Alley of course. When Emmeline started the day, the little trip she made to Hogsmeade with her best friend Lily Evans was to just shop around, get lunch, and perhaps bump into to a few lookers on the way. But as it turns out Lil's was playing one of the old hide and go seek games. Figures, Lily didn't have one of those in a while. Emme guessed it was between the stress of school, James, and all the other pig headed people.
This was something Emme could possibly relate too. Even though she went out with one of the top pig heads in the school and crushed on other not to long ago. But she couldn't help herself. The cute athletic guys were her type and obviously everyone else's too since every other girl at the school liked Sirius or James once as well. Of course Lily being Lily knew that even liking one of the two was going to bring trouble, at it certainly did. James ended the relationship to attempt to hook up with her best friend and Sirius just got her hopes up. The last thing Emme needed was a tease.
This whole game started when Emme turned to look at a really cute dress she had found in one of the stores windows. Window shopping, all it did was pressure you more into spending your money on things you were probably going to use once and never use again. Like the dress. But when Emme turned around she saw a blur of red hair zoom into Honey dukes. Emmeline chuckled and walked over to the store opening the door then she closed it behind her. The bell rang twice as the smell of chocolate crossed with the air in the store to make a sensational smell. Every wiff she took of it made her mouth water. She immediately ran over to the stores counter and stared down at all the candy that was show cased there.
It was soo tempting to buy some of it. She felt like she was five again and had walked into Honey dukes for the first time. Oh yea off of candy and now to find Lily. She turned away from the candy and walked around and aisle. She quickly looked down it to see if she was hiding at the end or running around to the next aisle but she was no where to be found. She smirked and started to look for places to hide. " If I was Lily, where would I hide? she asked herself. But after two seconds of thinking she knew she couldn't think like Lily since Lily had a weird mind so she called out,
" Lily? Where are you?! "
As she searched each aisle for the girl. Once she checked everwhere she turned around to see red hair she smirked and walked towards Lily to see if she would make a run for it or admit her defeat.

Lily turned around suddenly to see Emme standing there, her long brown hair floating down her back. She pulled a sad face. "Meanie..." she growled and stuck out her little pink tounge. When Emme had found her it slowly started to make her snap out of the little episode she was having, and started to become 17 year old Lily Evans again. Even as the Older Evans she still wanted chocolate.
She had heard, back in the muggle realm, where she had spent christmas. That Chocolate let off happy horomones, and I think that that was what Lily needed right now. Snape was on her back, trying to prove that he was better than her... again.... Sirius was just plain annoying her, and she hated him anyway for what he did to Emme. Why is it that the guys they chose to hang out with were such pricks? Lily decided that they needed to find some new guys to talk too. Apart from Remus. He was a sweetheart. It was such a shame that he hung out with Beavus and Butthead. Yes James and Sirius. She's talking to you.
The one she forgot to mention was Peter. Now there was one guy who just plain gave her the creeps. There was definately something about him that she didn't like, but she just wasn't sure what. Maybe all that slime had finally gotten to his brain.
Lily smiled at Emme. She wasn't looking to happy. She hated Sirius and Potthead for doing this to her. Both of them had ripped her heart out, and now Potthead was trying to make it worse by dating her. What a freak. Seriously. As if she would ever date dirt.
"I think we need a girl's night in!" Lily smiled and started to gather up chocolate and sweets and ice cream. "We've both had enough of boys and their stupid tricks, we need to unwind, maybe go guy spotting. See if we can find anything better." She smiled and went over to the cash register to pay.

Emmeline smiled as it seemed Lily was now back to her usually self. Though she called her a meanie which she hadn't heard from anyone in a while. She laughed at the comment. Lily seemed so serious all the time to others but the real Lil's was quite the character. Always cracking jokes, oh how she loved a good laugh once in a while. As Lily removed herself from the floor she stopped looking at her and turned her head to see a whole bunch of yummy treats. Yep, this stuff was defiantly worth her money, even if it did effect her perfect teeth. She grabbed a once of her favorite treats of all chocolate frogs, before responding to Lil's silly comment.
" Me, a meanie! No way. If anyone is a meanie it's you Lily Evans. What kind of friend leaves their friends staring at a gorgeous dress in a shop window?! "
Emme said to Lily, as a joke of course. Emmeline had quite the joking side as well whether it was good or bad it was always true and left people with smiles on their faces. "I think we need a girl's night in!" Emme beamed. She loved girl's night with Lily and Alice. It was nice to have them there for her. And her extra somebody to go to, Amy Heffernan was always a good addition. Though her blonde moments could be annoying at times. Especially in the middle of a really good movie. At times she would ask, "What's happening?" it was annoying but tolerable. She followed Lily towards the counter and watched as she grabbed multiple goodies.
"We've both had enough of boys and their stupid tricks, we need to unwind, maybe go guy spotting. See if we can find anything better." Was Lily a mind reader? Because that was exactly what she was thinking! She nodded to her suggestion. Better guys, that's what she wanted and needed. The perfect guy was exactly what would fix a a shattered heart. Emme was probably over reacting about the whole thing with the James break up but it hurt, and still did. Though when she was around him, she acted like nothing had happened. The last thing she wanted was for the year relationship to ruin their great friendship.
" Lily, I think you know me too well! "
Emmeline said with a smile as she placed her boxes of chocolate frogs on the counter.

Lily smiled.
"Shop Window? What shop window..." She smirked, the slightly childish Lily coming back out a little bit again. She remembered the whole James thing suddenly and felt herself turning red. What would Emme say when she found out that Lily was starting to enjoy James' Company a little too much? Of course she'd never admit to it. She'd have to die first. She knew Emme would die if she thought that Lily and James were going to get together. Would Emme ever talk to her again?
Lily had decided that even if she was starting to feel something for him she was going to supress it with all her will. She didn't care what Potthead said, she didn't care anymore. Lily was pretty sure she would rather die than lose Emme for some thingy who would probably be with her for a couple of weeks, get bored, then move on to some slut. FUN!
Lily smiled reassuringly at Emme. She definately needed chocolate and lots of it. She could see it now. Emme, Lily and Alice sitting round the fire in the griff common room. Eating chocolate and watching all the Boy griffs as they enter the room. Pelting rotten eggs at Beavus and Butthead and generally having a good time. no Lily just purely couldn't wait. It was going to be awesome.
"We need lots and lots of chocolate and maybe some old magazines. Think we can get that new film... what's it called.... Dirty Dancing? Think we'll find somewhere to watch it. Does Hogwarts even Have a tv?" She smirked, "And of course I know you too well, I've known you for almost 7 years!"

Emmeline smiled and jogged over to the shop's door her brown locks bouncing around behind her. She looked out the medium sized window which was found on the door and looked for the store. Emme, being Emme, wasn't really interested with the stores name, more with what was in it! She remembered looking at the signed but her memory of it was all blurry. She sighed while thinking of the name and what the dress looked like. This would explain why she wasn't the perfect student. Her, Alice, and Lil's would study for hours and right before the test she would forget half of the things she studied about. And so she gave up and tried to explain the sign to her friend in the best detail.
" You know...uh..the one with the big green sign with golden patterns bordering it and all..."
Emme explained while turning away from the window and facing her friend again. She sighed and walked back over to a probably confused Lily. Maybe she actually did pick up what she was saying, she didn't know. She smiled at the cashier who seemed to be listening in on their conversation. "What a noisy fellow!" she said to herself. She nodded and he began to ring up the candy they had picked out for the night that was suppose to be full of joy! She really hoped it turned out the way she wanted it too.
Emme then heard Lily say, "We need lots and lots of chocolate and maybe some old magazines. Think we can get that new film... what's it called.... Dirty Dancing? Think we'll find somewhere to watch it. Does Hogwarts even Have a tv?. " Emme started to think, Dirty Dancing? What was that? Oh, well obviously a film, must be a muggle movie since Emme had never heard of it. Emme remembered when she went to visit Lily in the muggle world at one time. The movies was great and the popcorn was good too! She shook her head and said,
" Good idea, but I don't think Hogwarts has a television either..."
Lately, it had been awfully strange to talk to Lily about her James issues. It seemed like she wanted to know but didn't want to hear her complain about how they broke up. She never liked listening about the boy in the first place but when she did listen she had loads of advice like forget him! Currently, there was more of a oh, really, typical James. Emme knew that James liked Lily a lot and that Emme was not someone he wanted to be with anymore. He always did have a sudden urge to talk to the Lil's. Perhaps he was using me to get to Lily? She thought to herself as the cashier stuck their candy into bags. At least it doesn't bother me as much as it yous't too. In fact, she wouldn't even care if he went out with Alice, Amy, or Lily anymore! She shouldn't care anyway, right? They broke up even before school had started!
New year, new boys, new opportunities to do things you've never done! Emme was liking her sudden burst of positive attitude. It would be best if she got over James already. She knew it was just bringing Lily and Alice down too. So she figured after tonight, no more moping around. More flirting perhaps dating would work. She smirked as the cashier handed her the bag of candy. He said, " Hey cutie how about we hook up sometime? " He asked Emme with a wink and a smirk. The guy was about 24 or 25 the oldest. Emme chuckled then shrugged.
" Maybe my owl will send you a little visit later. "
Emme said with a giggle after and started to walk towards the shop's door again but this time she was actually leaving the store.

Lily watched as Emme disappeared out the shop door, her long brown hair sort of flying behind her. She was gone before Lily even finshed her sentence. Oh god. It was her turn now to hide! She smirked and followed her.
" You know...uh..the one with the big green sign with golden patterns bordering it and all..." The big Green sign? Lily knew that shop.
She smiled as Emme brought the candy and then she walked over to her and put her arm around her shoulder. She was Glad Emme was showing signs of being her old self, though she'd be damned if she thought she was actually going to let Emme send that Owl.
"I know the shop. C'mon let's go have a look!" Lily walked out of the shop and towards a small little edwardian looking shop. That was painted green around the window. It was so quiant, Lily automatically fell in love with it. She smiled and opened the door. A small bell went off and a small fail woman appeared from the back room. Lily nodded politely and started to shift her way through the shelfs. It was then that she saw it.
Imediately Lily decided that she needed it. She was desperate for it. It was a small little green dress, which had a beautiful emborided design on the front. It was the same color as her eyes and it would show off her red perfectly. The Dress was the perfect dress for the next heads meeting. James would drop dead at the sight of her. Something which she very much wanted.
"Ummm.... excuse me lady? How much is this dress?"

Emmeline was out of the store and was now looking for the shop she was talking about. But a smile spread onto her face when Lily knew what she was talking about. But Lily always knew was she was talking about whether it was in Gibberish or English too fast or too slow. Lily always understood everything she was saying! Maybe that's why it was so easy to talk to her. She smiled and let Lily lead the way to the store. Seeing Lily's face when she saw the dress, Emme laughed and followed the red head into the store. The store was very fancy and the prune like woman was an unneeded addition to the place. While Lily went directly to find the dress in the window, which was almost perfect in every way, Emme looked for others. She scanned the aisle and looked for another dress since she didn't want a dress Lily had. As she searched for something else she bumped into a couple of dresses. One was [orange] and very cute. Two were blue, one [silk] and the other had a [bow]. Then the [green] one was always good. It was very simple, something Alice would probably wear. Then last but not least a [pink] one. Probably the dress that was most out there. It was very pretty though. Emme looked at the dresses seeing which one's she was going to buy. Deciding that Alice had no dresses and probably needed one she took out the [green] one. And this is where it got hard she tapped her foot as she began to think which one would probably look best on her. It was between the [silk blue] one or the [pink] one. Hmmm this is a very hard descison...that I don't have to make! Emme smiled and removed both dresses from the rack. And walked over to Lily, who was still talking to the prune lady. Emme who was carrying three dresses in her hands nodded then asked the lady, " How much are these? " Emme hoped they weren't too expensive. Her birthday had just passed and she hadn't used her birthday money on anything yet. Soo she figured she would shop for a few birthday gifts. Thank goodness she remembered to stuff the cash into her robe pocket, she wouldn't know what she would do if she had to pass up these gorgeous things. Lily brought the dress. The shop was really cheap. Apparently there was somesort of sale on the dresses. She smiled to herself and watched as Emme brought three, even cheaper dresses. The day was going so well!
She looked at Emme, who was currently tring to make the old lady understand what she was saying and she smiled. In fact Lily laughed, It was hilarious to watch. Emme had absoulutely no people skills what so ever.
Once Emme had finally mangaged to buy the dresses, Lily hooked her arm and marched her out of the shop before she could spend anymore money, "Where do you wanna go next my little friend?"
