"Charrie Time"
Charrie's Name: Megan Leann Camenson (call her Meg)
Date of Birth: December 12th 1961(ish)
House: Gryffindor
Year: 6th
Appearance: Meg has long wavy dark brown hair, and greenish-gray eyes. She's a little shorter than average, and her face is covered in freckles. She has an athletic build because she plays quidditch and likes to run/jog when she's feeling down or depressed. Meg wears simple clothes and very little jewelry or make up unless there's a particular event going on, and in schools she wears the uniform unaltered. She's sort of pretty in a way, but she never really cares and doesn't do much to emphasize it. Her skin is tan and freckled from spending most of her time in the sun and her hair tends to have that "sun-kissed" look to it.
Personality: Meg is witty and good natured, but she does have an inner dark side. She can also be a happy person under good circumstances, but also can be easily angered at the same time. Meg also has a quick tongue, that often gets her out of trouble (or into it, depending on the situation). When she's depressed she'll go for a run and just keep her problems to herself. She's not extremely book smart and requires tutoring in some subjects, reading and studying just aren't really her thing. Her abilities lie in athletics and sports, she's pretty strong even though you would be able to tell by looking at her. Usually Meg is pretty observant and intuitive, and a lot of her decisions are made on instinct alone. She can also be a happy person under good circumstances. Meg can also be slightly clumsy and accident prone when she isn't on a broomstick.
Your Charrie in 10 Years: Well... it's hard to say... Possibly working for the Ministry or dead. She'll eventually join the Order and quite possibly be killed by death eaters. It's hard to say... I haven't decided yet.
Character History: Meg was born in Bristol, of two loving parents. She was an only child so she didn't have a lot of interaction with other children until she was a little older. Sadly, Meg's mother passed away of natural cases when she was five. So most of her life she was raised by her father. Her father was an over worked Ministry worker with out much going for him. She now spends a lot of time worrying about his health, making sure that he doesn't die of exhaustion despite the fact that he stays up all night working and then spends the entire day at the office working. Other than the death of her mother, which she hardly even remembers now, her childhood has been pretty normal, no trauma, no big conflicts, no rampaging death eaters out to kill her. Normal...
When she was nine her father took her to a national quidditch game and that's when Meg decided that she'd be a Quidditch Player when she got older. She started at Hogwarts two years later but didn't make the team until her second year. Meg wasn't really known for much through out most of her schooling at Hogwarts, no spectacular grades, or particular achievements other than become the Gryffindor Chaser.
Since conflict with "He Who Must Not Be Named" began she's spent most of her time worrying about her father and wondering if she should stay in Hogwarts another year or jump head first into the conflict itself. Lately she's been doubting herself and wondering what will happen to her in the near future.
Sample Post:
Meg woke with a start, breathing hard and her heart pounding in her chest. She sat up fast and looked around her... Nothing seemed out of place but yet something didn't feel quite right. Meg felt disoriented and confused but she couldn't understand why. She pulled back the covers of her bed and set her feet on the ground. The wood floor was cold under her bare feet but she didn't even seem to notice. She walked slowly to the window and opened it wide. The window creaked slightly as it open and Meg made a quick glance to her roommates to make sure she hadn't woken them up.
The cool autumn air met her in the face sending a wave of relief down her spine. Meg looked down at the grounds far below the dormitory window, and watched the grass ripple like water and she felt the urge to go down there and walk around. But the thought of getting caught kept her from doing so and she promised herself she'd go for a run before breakfast when the sun comes up.
After standing at the window for a couple minutes she wandered back to her four poster bed. Meg made a quick glance at the clock, it was nearly three, but she didn't feel tired. Her dream had cured her of that. She sat down on her bed and pulled her knees to her chest and letting her hair fall down as a curtain around her head. Fresh air could only do so much after the traumatic dream she'd had.
"It was just a dream..." she told herself again and again, even though she knew it wouldn't help.
